Itongadol.- Hatnua MK Amram Mitzna said there needs to be a reform in the army, during an interview with Israel Radio.
Mitzna, who also serves as a general in the army reserves, said that since Syria and Egypt are at a low point in terms of their army strength, Israel should change their priorities in terms of the budget.
His sentiment was echoed by MK Binyamin Ben-Eliezer who said that with all of the changes going on in the world, the IDF needs to be ready for anything that might happen.
Palestinian militants on Thursday fired a rocket out of the Gaza Strip towards southern Israel, AFP quoted police as saying.
The rocket "landed in the Negev region," according to Micky Rosenfeld. No injuries or damage were reported.
Police added they still haven\’t found the rocket fired at Sha\’ar Henegev regional council.
