Itongadol.- The diary of a senior Nazi war criminal that could provides insight on the Holocaust emerged after it had been missing since the end of the Nuremberg trials in 1946, APF reported Thursday.
Reporters were shown excerpts from the Rosenberg Diary, penned by Adolf Hitler\’s confidant, Alfred Rosenberg in Delaware, according to AFP.
The material was to be handed over to the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC.
"Having material that documents the actions of both perpetrators and victims is crucial to helping scholars understand how and why the Holocaust happened," AFP quoted Sara Bloomfield, head of the Holocaust Memorial Museum as saying.
