Germany. Antisemitic abuse

 Neukölln, Berlin – A Jewish man wearing a kippah was verbally abused as he walked down the street in Berlin’s Neukölln district on Tuesday.

The Jewish man reports “Yahud” (Arabic for “Jew”) and “Sharmota” (Arabic for “Son of a bitch”) being shouted at him by an elderly man. The incident took place during the day on one of Berlin’s main streets. Passersby remained indifferent.

This is the second such reported incident to take place within two days, after a Jewish man was similarly harassed in Berlin on Sunday.
