Itongadol.-The Latin American Jewish Congress sent today a strong warning to the Latin governments and criticized some of their politics and actions towards the Israel-Gaza Strip conflict. In dialogue with the Jewish News Agency, AJN, Saul Gilvich, its general secretary, said: "Its their policies that are generating strong waves of antisemitism in the Latin American countries, where, no doubts, the politics that generate them are the ones responsible and will be the ones responsible of the outcomes of this current antisemitism. I think it is a historic mistake that can be repared with time".
The jewish leader referred to the critics received by Israel because of its operation against the terror organization Hamas in the Strip, that were spoken by many Latin leaders during the last weeks, and the call to consultation of some ambassadors in Israel, like El Salvador, Peru and Chile.
