Barkat invites Juve to Israel for Christmas

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat, who is currently in Italy meeting with his municipal counterparts, has invited soccer powerhouse Juventus to visit Israel next Christmas and play an exhibition match against Beitar Jerusalem.
Barkat extended the invitation during a meeting with Juve President Andrea Agnelli at the club’s newly opened stadium in Turin.
According to the One sports website, Agnelli promised he would discuss Barkat’s invitation with club managers and give an answer soon.
