Itongadol.- Following the explosion of the launcher of the Amos 6 satellite in Florida, Science, Technology and Space Minister Ofir Akunis said on Friday that the Israel Space Agency will continue to support the Israeli space industry.
“We will aim to keep it in the forefront of technology and preserve the critical independence of Israel in the field of satellite communications,” he said. Akunis will meet on Sunday with representatives of the space industry for an emergency discussion to assess the situation along with senior ministry officials.
