Itongadol.- The Lod District Court on Monday filed indictments against members of the alleged Jewish terrorist cell from the West Bank, suspected of committing terrorist acts and hate crimes against Palestinians. They are suspected of committing the acts in the Gush Talmonim area of the West Bank, near Ramallah.
The Shin Bet announced last week that it had arrested six Jewish terrorist suspects, five from the Binyamin area and one from Kiryat Arba (in the Hebron area). Three of the suspects have been identified as Pinhas Shandorfi, 22, Itamar Ben Aharon, 20, and Michael Kaplan, 20. The other suspect\’s identities are under gag order, as two of them are minors aged 16 and 17, and the other is an IDF soldier. The members of the group, also known as the Nahliel group, are suspected of security offenses against Palestinians, lighting vehicles on fire, throwing a Molotov cocktail and a gas grenade towards inhabited homes, and assault.
According to the Shin Bet, the suspects admitted to their alleged crimes shortly after being arrested, even reenacting some.
The Shin Bet and the Judea and Samaria District Police claim that the members of the alleged terror cell, who worked together over a long period of time, set fire to a Palestinian vehicle in Bitilu mere hours after the murder of Naama and Eitam Henkin in October. In addition, the group allegedly assaulted a Palestinian in July 2015, and set fire to another Palestinian vehicle in 2014. They are also suspected of lobbing a Molotov Cocktail and gas grenade at inhabited Palestinian homes in two separate incidents in November and December of 2015.
