Itongadol.- French authorities believe that one of the masked jihadists who appear in the latest Islamic State video calling for more terrorist atrocities in the Fifth Republic is Hayat Boumeddiene, an alleged co-conspirator who was behind the attack on a kosher supermarket.
Report: France suspects woman in latest ISIS video tied to Paris kosher market attack
As reported by CNN, the terrorist believed to be Boumeddiene is seen in a video entitled “Blow Up France 2,” which was disseminated throughout social media outlets on Tuesday.
The clip in question shows a group of armed ISIS fighters speaking in French.
Boumeddiene’s husband, Amedy Coulibaly, killed four people at the Hyper Cacher market in the eastern part of the French capital on January 9. He was killed by police following an hours-long standoff.
"If you fight for democracy, we will fight for Islam," an ISIS terrorist says in the clip. "You will have to accept that we will react fully to the numerous crimes you committed. You took our rights. Therefore you can\’t expect to be in peace."
The extremist organization that has managed to carve out a de facto jihadist state across large swaths of Syria and Iraq is urging French Muslims to defect from the Fifth Republic and take up arms in the new “caliphate.”
