Itongadol.- Israeli basketball star Omri Casspi scored a career-high 31 points, 16 of them in a blazing third quarter, to lead the Sacramento Kings to a 116-111 victory over the Minnesota Timberworlves late Tuesday.
The Kings snapped their five-game losing streak.
Casspi, the Yavne native, has enjoyed a revival of sorts ever since George Karl took over as head coach earlier this season.
In the last five games, the Israeli national star has averaged 15.3 points.
Casspi shot the ball efficiently in Tuesday’s game, going 12 for 20 from the floor, including four three-pointers.
