Police are investigating the act vandalism after residents of Osbaldeston Road woke up Monday morning to discover the Nazi symbol drawn onto window panes, cars and a private ambulance.
According to London Shomrim, similar Swastikas have appeared in the same area over the past few weeks.
“Shomrim are committed to bring a stop to these senseless and mindless acts of vandalism, and are working closely with the Police investigation to assist in every possible way,” Shomrim coordinator Barry Bard said. “Police are taking these incidents very seriously and are treating it as Hate Crime, I urge anyone with information to call 101″.
Just last week, the Jubilee Primary School in the borough’s Stoke Newington neighborhood was daubed twice with swastikas in two separate incidents within a week.
Police Inspector Jeoff Bull (NE Neighbourhoods, Hackney) stated, “We will not tolerate anti-semitism or racism of any kind. We are doing our utmost to trace and bring to justice the suspects involved in this racist graffiti as well as reassure all of our communities”.
