Itongadol.- Two Israeli soldiers were lightly injured in a stabbing attack inside an Israeli settlement in the central West Bank Wednesday evening, the second such attack in the area in a day.
The stabbing took place at the entrance to the settlement of Har Bracha, outside Nablus. Initial reports indicated there had been two assailants.
After stabbing two soldiers, the attackers escaped the scene, with some reports indicating they stole a gun from one of the soldiers as well.
One victim suffered a wound to his neck and the other had light injuries, according to the Magen David Adom rescue service.
The IDF confirmed only that there had been a stabbing attack. A large amount of soldiers were dispatched to the area to search for the attackers.
On Wednesday morning, two Palestinians sneaked into the settlement of Eli, east of Ramallah, and stabbed an Israeli man outside his home. The two were shot dead by the settlement’s security detail.
