Two injured in shooting attack at Haorev Junction in West Bank

According to an initial IDF report, two people were injured in a drive-by shooting terrorist attack at the Haorev Junction, near the West Bank\’s Tul Karem, Tuesday night.

One man, in serious condition, sustained a head injury as well as gunshot wounds to his limbs and was evacuated to the Beilinson hospital in Petah Tikva.

Army units have launched a large-scale search of the area to track down the car from which bullets were shot, and roads in the area have been closed to traffic.

In an attack earlier on Wednesday, a Palestinian terrorist wounded an IDF soldier and a civilian in a stabbing attack near Beit Hadassah, a building that houses Jewish families in the West Bank city of Hebron.

One of the victims was moderately wounded and the other was suffering from light injuries.

One of the youths injured in the attack is the son of former Bayit Yehudi MK Orit Struck. He was injured while tackling the terrorist and attempting to rescue the soldier.

The incident occurred during a security check at the entrance to Beit Hadassah.

A civilian security coordinator who was on the scene fired on and killed the terrorist.
