Itongadol.- Palestinian terrorists hurled a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli vehicle travelling on Route 60 on Friday evening, causing burn injuries to three Israeli civilians: A four-year-old girl, an 11-year-old girl, and a 44-year-old woman.
Magen David Adom paramedic evacuated the three to the Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem\’s Ein Kerem.
Paramedics said the four-year-old is in moderate condition, while the remaining two suffered light wound in the firebombing of their vehicle.
The car was traveling from Givat Asaf in the direction of Beit El, north of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
IDF units have launched a sweep of the area in search of the attackers.
Route 60 is a north-south highway that transverses the West Bank. The road has been the scene of many attacks on Israeli motorists in recent days and weeks.
On Thursday, Palestinians hurled a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli vehicle on Route 60. The firebomb was thrown from the direction of the old mosque in Huwwara, near Nablus, the army said. There were no injuries in the attack, through the vehicle sustained damage.
Also on Route 60, an Israeli vehicle was struck by rocks thrown from the direction of Al-Arroub between Hebron and Jerualem. There were no injuries in that incident, but the vehicle sustained damage.
Some 250 Palestinians clashed with security forces at the Hassam Shoter checkpoint in Hebron on Thursday. Rioters hurled rocks and burning tires at Border Police and IDF personnel on the scene, who responded with crowd dispersal means, and fired Ruger rounds. One rioter was struck in the lower body by a Ruger rifle round, an army spokeswoman said.
Overnight between Thursday and Friday, the IDF and Border Police arrested 10 wanted security suspects in West Bank raids, most of them Hamas members.
Two of the suspects allegedly took part in unorganzied terrorist activities and violent disturbances.
Arrests occurred in Taluza, northeast of Nablus, where the IDF nabbed a Hamas member, in A-Ram, southeast of Ramallah, where a Hamas operative was arrested, and Beitunia, southwest of Ramallah, where a third Hamas member was arrested.
Additional arests were carried out in Al-Eida, north of Bethlehem, Suhawara, northeast of Bethlehem, and Sheikh Sa\’ad, northeast of Bethlehem.
Security forces also raided an address in Hebron, arresting a Hamas member there, and made arrests two villages around Hebron. The Hebron area is a Hamas stronghold with many members and supporters of the Islamsit terrorist organization living in the area.
