Itongadol.- Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has cancelled a trip to Germany planned for Thursday, German government sources told Reuters, as tensions rise between Palestinians and Israelis.

An Israeli official confirmed the cancellation, citing the security situation.
The announcement came amid continued violence on Wednesday, including a stabbing attack in Jerusalem\’s Old City and another in the southern city of Kiryat Gat. Both perpetrators were neutralized, and police shot and killed the assailant involved in the Kiryat Gat attack.
Earlier in the week, Netanyahu planned to shorten his planned trip alongside a number of his senior ministers to Germany in light of the security situation.
Four Israelis have been killed since Thursday in a stabbing and a drive-by shooting perpetrated by Palestinian terrorists. Police shot dead the Palestinian knife-wielder and the IDF arrested five members of the Islamist Hamas group for the shooting.
Two Palestinians have been killed in clashes with Israeli soldiers in the West Bank since Sunday. Another Palestinian man, suspected of having stabbed and wounded an Israeli teen on Saturday, was shot dead by police in Jerusalem.
