Itongadol.- Kanye West, one of the world\’s most successful pop stars, willreturn to Israel for a single show on the September 30 in Ramat Gan\’s stadium. In a press conference held Tuesday morning, the organizers stated that the price of a ticket would range between NIS 199 and 650 (about $52-172).
The confirmation of West\’s show comes merely three months after his private visit to the Holy Land with his wife, reality star Kim Kardashian, and his daughter North, who was baptized in Israel. The producers responsible for bringing the star to Israel, Leah Luzon and Benny Menashe, are the same producers behind recent gig by Chris Brown and the fast upcoming Mariah Carey concert in Israel. The two admit that Kanye\’s visit to Israel strongly influenced his decision to perform here.
In addition to being a talented musician, Kanye started out his musical journey as a producer, working with Jay-Z on his classic album "The Blueprint." Kanye also worked with Alicia Keys, Ludacris, and others. West rose to fame in 2004 with his breakout album "The College Dropout," which was extremely successful with American audiences, and won him a coveted Grammy award.
Since then, West has released five other albums, which have sold than 21 million copies, and has had more than 100 million digital downloads, figures which make him one of the most successful pop artists in history.
He has also won 21 Grammy Awards, has been included on Time\’s prestigious 100 most influential people\’s list three times, and this year even appeared on the cover of Time magazine.
West is famous not only for being a musician, his ability to be outrageous or for his fashion label. In 2014, he married Kim Kardashian, one of the world\’s most famous entertainers.
They have one daughter, and in April they both came to Israel in order to baptize her at the Cathedral of Saint James in the Armenian Quarter of Jerusalem. In December, Kardashian is due to give birth to a boy, and it remains unclear whether she will join her husband for his October show.
