Itongadol.- Argentina will remember the AMIA attack victims, where 85 people died, in its 19º anniversary tomorrow morning. The ceremony will begin with a minute of silence at 9.53 a.m., the exact time when the bomb exploded in front of the AMIA building in Buenos Aires, under the slogan "19 years: The wound is still open".
The speakers will be AMIA`s president, Leonardo Jmelnitzky, and Sofía Guterman, Andrea´s mother, one of the 85 victims murdered in the attack.
During the ceremony there will be a claim of memory, justice and punishment for the ideological and material perpetrators of the tragic event that also caused hundreds of wounded.
One of the most important activities carried out by AMIA to commemorate the 19º anniversary is the Memory Booth, a kind of time tunnel that goes back to what happened on July 18th in 1994. This aims to recreate the feelings and experiences of two survivors, Martin Cano and Jorge Beremblum, and will be on display until Friday.
