Itongadol.- The Chief of Defense of the Italian Armed Forces, General Claudio Graziano, landed on Tuesday, July 12th in Israel for an official visit as the guest of the IDF Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Gadi Eizenkot.
General Claudio Graziano was received with an honor guard by IDF soldiers, in the presence of IDF Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Gadi Eizenkot.
During the visit General Claudio Graziano and Lieutenant General Gadi Eizenkot will have strategic discussions regarding the shared threats and opportunities for future cooperation between the two militaries.
In addition, Lieutenant General Gadi Eizenkot presented a Medal of Appreciation to General Claudio Graziano as an acknowledgement of his steps taken towards strengthening the relationship and strategic cooperation between the IDF and Italian Armed Forces.
