Ban Ki-moon to visit Israel at end of June

 Ki-moon is due to arrive in Israel at the end of June, just weeks after the start of a new internationalized peace process led by France.

He last traveled to Israel in October. His visit is likely to be his last trip here, given that his term expires in December of this year.

Among the candidates under consideration to replace him are; Bulgaria’s Irina Bokova who is the current Director-General of UNESCO, former Croatian foreign minister Vesna Pusic, Moldovan Foreign Minister Natalia Gherman and former Serbian foreign minister Vuk Jeremić.
