Itongadol.- All flights from Belgium have been cancelled following terror attacks in Brussels that killed at least 20 people, according to Belgian reports, and the Foreign Ministry confirmed that at least one Israeli was injured and is in light condition.

United Hatzalah volunteer EMT, Yaakov Yeret, who was at the Brussels Airport at the time of the attack, said that “At the time of the explosion I was praying at the synagogue in the airport. We felt the explosion. We exited the synagogue in order to see what was happening and we joined the stream of people who were being ushered by the police to exit the terminal. For the moment we are being kept at the other end of the airport and we are awaiting further instructions from the security forces at the scene.”

As many as 20 people were killed and 55 people were injured after twin blasts ripped through the airport early Tuesday morning. Another blast occurred at a metro station one stop away from the EU institutions.

The explosions were carried out by a suicide bomber, Belgian broadcaster VRT said.

Belgian media reported that shots were fired and words in Arabic shouted before the two explosions were heard in the departure hall of Brussels airport.
