Itongadol.- At least eleven people were wounded in a vehicular ramming attack near the Chords Bridge at the entrance to Jerusalem on Monday afternoon.
The terrorist was shot and killed at the scene.
According to police, the motorist in a private vehicle drove onto the sidewalk and rammed into pedestrians near a bus stop on the capital\’s Herzl Street. Police later found an axe in the car.
At least two victims, a toddler and a 65-year-old woman, were in moderate condition and nine others were in light condition. Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem was treating some of the wounded and the remainder were being treated at Hadassah University Medical Center in the capital\’s Ein Kerem neighborhood.
The terrorist appeared to have also rammed into a fire hydrant, spraying water across the premises.
Security forces were at the scene.
