Itongadol.- One person was wounded in a stabbing attack in the South Hebron Hills in the West Bank on Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred near Al-Fawwar, a refugee camp. According to initial reports, a Palestinian man came out of his car armed with a knife and stabbed an Israeli. The Israeli, a man in his 20s, was seriously wounded. The assailant was shot by Israeli security forces and seriously wounded.

The attack took place in the same location that Kiryat Arba resident Avraham (Asher) Hasno was run over and killed last month. The driver fled the scene at the time but later turned himself in to the Palestinian police. He told authorities he didn\’t mean to hit Hasno.

In wake of the incident, Palestinian residents of Hebron are reporting that all the entrances to the city were blocked by the Israel Defense Forces.

On Tuesday, four men were wounded on Tuesday morning in a car-ramming attack at Tapuah Junction in the West Bank.

That attack followed a day of violence Monday in Jerusalem and the West Bank in which an IDF soldier was killed and several others wounded in three separate stabbing attacks. Monday\’s violence brought the total number of Israelis killed since mid-September to 23.
