Pope Francis sends regards to the Jewish community for Rosh Hashaná

Itongadol/AJN.- Pope Francis salutes to the Argentinian Jewish community for Rosh Hashaná and Iom Kipur and wishes “the Lord takes in our pleas stimulating our hearts to built together a reality in which justice, kindness, misericord and love can be exponded with all their splendor in the human bosom”.

The message was send into a letter deliver to the Rabin Abraham Skorka that the Jewish News Agency has access.
 
The pontiff reveals in the letter: "Like I have done so many times before, I send you my best regards and blessings for this Jewish New Year.  I have shared two important moments of prayer with your community the days before the Lord judges every single creature, as the jewish tradition teaches in the beginning of every year. I raise again my prayers to the Lord in order to bless you, your family, Bnei Tikva and the hole jewish community in with health, peace and fortune.”
 
"In our blessings you pray for all the people and the peace in the planet earth. Please, I beg you do not forgive to pray for me too. May the Lord bless you”, added Pope Francis.
 
In May, Rabin Skorka accompanied Pope Francis with the exsecretary of the Islamic Centre Omar Abboud, in an interreligious trip for peace in Middle East, in which they profess a message of peace and cohabitation in the hole world. “According to the sacret texts, having peace here, there will be in all the places of the planet Earth. Our faith makes us optimistic persons. We believe in goods and that every man can raise his individual importance. And it can be showed through a peace agreement”, have said Skorka to AJN during the trip for Jerusalem.
 
This meeting achieved that Pope Francis invited the expresident of Israel Shimon Peres, and the PA leader, Mahmoud Abbas, to join a pray for peace in the Vatican, a few weeks later. In this occasion, the pontiff  begs for a cooperation between religions and requested to the religious leaders to make a important rol of the religion. The Pope added that terrorism “attempts against the freedom to choose any religion and damages all the religions”.
