Four killed in light aircraft crash in Haifa IAF base

Four people were killed in a light aircraft crash in an IAF base in Haifa on Thursday.
The plane reportedly crashed into the wall of a building during an emergency landing, after one of the engines of the Piper Cherokee light aircraft burst into flames.
MDA pronounced a flight instructor and three students dead at the site of the crash.
In March, a light aircraft crashed in an open field in the Upper Galilee, killing two.
The Cessna 172 plane, containing a pilot and one passenger, was consumed by flames in an open field after crashing at 10:12 am.
In August, two were killed when an ultra-light plane crashed near Rehovot. The crash was caused by a technical fault.
