Haredi man stabbed in suspected terror attack in Jerusalem

Itongadol.- A religious Jewish Israeli was rushed to hospital in Jerusalem with light stab wounds in what authorities suspect was a terrorist attack, the Magen David Adom ambulance service said on Friday.

Emergency services said that they received a distress call at 6:32 p.m. local time reporting a stabbing near Hashalshelet Street in the Old City of Jerusalem.

First responders arrived at the scene and evacuated the victim, a 21-year-old ultra-Orthodox Jew, to Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem\’s Ein Kerem.

MDA officials said that the victim suffered a stab wound in the head. The victim is fully conscious and his condition is being described as stable.
