Sirens blare in the regions of Yad Mordechai, Karmiya, Zikim, and Nativ Ha\’asara.

Gazan terrorists fired a single rocket at southern Israel on Tuesday night, setting off air raid sirens in the regions of Yad Mordechai, Karmiya, Zikim, and Nativ Ha\’asara.

IDF sources said they detected one rocket launch from Gaza. Local residents reported hearing a blast.

Earlier this month, Defense Minister Moshe Ya\’alon warned that Israel won\’t "allow anyone to disrupt the lives" of its citizens, in response to a number of recent rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip carried out by a Salafi-Jihadist organization.

Ya\’alon said that "in recent days we received another reminder about the complexity of the situation in the Gaza Strip, a hostile entity controlled by a murderous terrorist organization, Hamas, which is also challenged by terror gangs affiliated to the global jihad." At the start of the month, a number of rockets struck southern Israel, prompting the IAF to launch air strikes on terrorist targets in Gaza.

At the end of May, a Gazan rocket exploded in the Gan Yavne region, east of Ashdod, shattering four weeks of quiet and setting of air raid sirens in the Ashdod and Lakhish regions.

At the beginning of the month, a rocket fired at Israel from Gaza triggered air raid sirens in the Ashkelon and Hof Ashkelon regions.
