An American Jewish journalist who wrote an in-depth profile of GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump’s wife has been bombarded with antisemitic hate mail from people presumably supporting the real estate mogul’s candidacy.
The writer, Julia Ioffe, penned a lengthy piece for GQ magazine about Melania Trump and her Slovenian roots. In response, she was inundated with emails, threats, and horrific memes on social media from Trump supporters, including antisemitic Holocaust references and anti-Jewish slurs.
