Itongadol.- The Ramallah municipal council announced new restrictions on alcohol purchases in the central West Bank city on Friday.
A statement from the council said that the sale of alcohol to minors under the age of 21, as well as the selling and serving of alcoholic beverages after midnight, would be prohibited in the city limits.
All alcohol producers and sellers must have a license to do so, the statement added.
Alcohol is widely available in the West Bank, particularly in major cities like Ramallah and Bethlehem.
