PA official: Abbas looks forward to developing relations with Iran

Itongadol.- Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas was interested in developing more open relations between the Palestinian an Iran, Palestinian media cited PA Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki as saying Monday.
Al-Maliki expressed Abbas\’ hope to new Iranian Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri during a meeting in Tehran to congratulate newly sworn-in Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on his inauguration.
During the meeting, al-Maliki reportedly conferred to the Iranian official complaints against ongoing Israeli activities, particularly relating to Jerusalem and the al-Aqsa Mosque.
