Itongadol.- The New South Wales Government has announced a $100,000 reward for information regarding the perpetrators of the 1982 bombings of the Israeli Consulate in Sydney and the Jewish Hakoah Club at Bondi.
On December 23, 1982, a bomb was detonated near the consulate, injuring two people.
Several hours later a bomb was found in a car parked outside the Hakoah club at Bondi, but failed to detonate properly.
Commander of the terrorism investigation squad, Wayne Gordon, said that while police have a clear indication of the identities of those involved, the reward is aimed at gathering information to substantiate their findings, The Australian reported.
A total of three men and one woman are considered primary suspects in the incidents.
Police have also tracked down a lost statement from a now deceased witness claiming he saw three suspicious men prior to the attack.
