Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayalon will leave for Germany

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Danny Ayalon will leave on Sunday, 23 October, for Germany for a series of meetings with government ministers and senior officials.
DFM Ayalon will meet with Dr. Werner Hoyer, Minister of State; Dirk Niebel, Federal Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development; and Christoph Heusgen, senior political advisor to Chancellor Merkel.
At the meetings, regional developments will be discussed and DFM Ayalon will explain Israel’s position.
DFM Ayalon will be the guest of honor at the second annual Germany-Israel conference, to be held in Frankfort.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Peace through Security – Security through Peace”.
Delegates from more than 140 organizations, NGOs, activists and groups will attend the conference to present a united front in support of Israel and to discuss a variety of current issues relating to Israel.
