Itongadol.- The Argentinean Jewish community condemned yesterday the "criminal" and "brutal" murder of four people while they where praying in Kehilat Bnei Tora Synagogue in Har Nof, Jerusalem, and a druse policeman, in another attack by Palestinian terrorist in the Israeli capital.
"This sinister attack of the fundamentalist terrorism, committed in a praying place, is an insult to the highest human values and deserves to be repudiated by the international community", because "there is no political argumentation that could justify the murder of innocent civilians", DAIA.
"Those who incite the genocide hatred are as responsible as the material authors of this massacre", it added.
The entity "expresses its condolences to the victim´s families and reaffirms its commitment with the quest for peace and the terrorist´s scourge eradication", the text finished. It was signed by its vicepresident Waldo Wolff and its general secretary Jorge Knoblovits.
Meanwhile, AMIA said that the attack "deserves the firmest rejection and the hardest reprisal of the entire international community". The institution "joins to the voices of condemnation that have risen all over the world to reject this barbaric act, which took place in a sacred prayer place, and accompanies the victim´s families in this painful moment".
The attack victims where rabbis Moshe Twersky, 59, and Kalman Levin, 50; Arieh Kopinsky, 43; Shmuel Goldberg, 68; and the policeman Zidan Saif, 30. Besides, seven other people were injured. The Palestinian attackers died in a confrontation with the police.
