Iranian spokesman Hassan Ghashghavi assured that “Argentinean authorities may say whatever they want, but they had been incapable of presenting, in 15 years, a valid or convincing reason for liking Iran with the bombing against AMIA.”
Regarding such statement, AMIA’s president told AJN that “For everything they have to say, they should say it before the Argentinean Justice, where there is a state that urges them to come properly, before the justice of this country. It is our justice the one who will establish the innocence or guilt of those Iranian that Interpol is seeking.”
Similarly, DAIA’s president told this agency that “the last assertions made by Iran constitute a violation against institutions. To say that evidence doesn’t exist, when it was filed before Interpol, is being despising to Interpol’s member countries.”
Finally, Donzis urged all member countries of Interpol to “strongly condemn Iran’s provocations and to act accordingly.”
